A program making sure Indigenous Australians vote matters is encouraging young people to participate in future elections.

Funded by the Electoral Commission, the idea of the Young Yarners program was established after the voice campaign found many first nations peoples in communities were not fully informed on the voting process.

Participants across Australia will co-design a community project to promote electoral participation and encourage youth and mob to enrol and vote.
